Right after my trip to Kent ( England ) with Barbour International I opened a reminder in my inbox about the Good Karma event. I was very curious to discover the new summer limited collection The Ritual of Karma at an exclusive event downtown. Plus it was on Coffeelabs's rooftop.
When I read 'mini Indian festival' on my invite , my mood went all the way UP! Especially when I read the next quote : "we believe that if you do good, that good will come your way". Good karma was enough reason to RSVP my presence. Take a look at what went down at the Good Karma event by Rituals.
The night began with a warm welcome by an Indian lady who was wearing such a beautiful Sari, that made me think of a Bollywood movie. The Indian lady in question brought us to the rooftop and there it was : India in Antwerp.
The food, the music, the neck message, the henna and the drinks were all Indian. From that moment on Jon Shah - my Indian alter ego - was brought back to life. Take a look at and tell me if I'm wrong to have let Jon Shah out ?
Let's talk about my Bollywood obsession for a second. It all started when I was 16 years old (Yes, I had a Bollywood phase in my youth. That period is over now but all it takes is an Indian instrument to wake up the Jon Shah in me.
Without any hesitation I went to the DJ and requested a classic : Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham anthem song. If you were present that night you might have seen my little Indian spectacle live or everybody else's snapchat.
Thanks to Rituals Cosmetics for the invite.
