First of all, did you enjoy your long weekend ? Mine was a big party! Plus I had to work on Sunday so hangover time it was for sure. Anyhooow, to start off the week why not rock another black look worn with a statement coat that screams out 'SLICK'! This weeks new #stylechallenge for you is next :
Put together : an all black look + a statement coat. Challenge accepted ?
To break down my look for you guys, my simplistic all black ensemble that I put together in 5 to 8 minutes max is light and easy to wear for a day downtown. Paired with a very comfy city shoe from Converse. In this case the minimal black look seemed just too simple until I found this COS coat - from their spring/summer '16 collection - hidden in my closet.
To be honest during the time that I was sick and even before I missed out on blogging, have you noticed ? That was due to a lack of inspirational mojo to write for le blog. But missing out on so much wasn't the real cause . After spending some quality time with my closest friends and family , I quickly realized that my "bloggers block" was due to a lack of innovation in my blog posts. I felt like I talked about the outfits way too much. Knowing that there is much more to a man's life than only his style.
Honesty is the reason why I decided to add some soul to my blog posts. We need something more to talk about than only fashion. Let's mix fashion with other life topics and see where that leads us. A moment of honesty here : Don't I look on fleek with my new COS coat ? *smiley face*

Why this sudden rant ? It's simple. Behind the blog , after work/school , behind the scenes we are all tangible humans with feelings , questions, different interests and emotions.
However what we all really need is honesty. It's constructive slash very healthy for your soul to be honest to yourself in the first place. That's how you win the real battle I believe.
