Berlin was so sweet guys! I went to Berlin not long ago to shoot the #TOPOFTHEBLOGS campaign for Zalando. A photo shoot in Berlin was amongst the prizes after winning Best Male Blog at the Zalando Blogger Awards. Combining the city trip with the annual #TOPOFTHEBLOGS campaign shooting was the best idea. Besides...city trippin' in Berlin is always good.
That week Berlin was sunny, lucky me. So at 9am I woke up in my hotel and wore my all white city guy look with my #Lemonade shirt from ANTWRP. Hopped on the 1st tram to Berlin Wall.
Ready for adventure, I started off my morning wandering in Berlin tour at the Berlin Wall, then stopped by the Auguststrasse in the hope to find an art gallery but it was a holiday...so I limited myself to an iced tea in a coffeehouse somewhere on the Auguststrasse. My morning tour ended at the Alexander Platz.
What I liked about Berlin is the "je m'en fou"-hipster-vibe it has going on and without a doubt the tons of graffiti walls through the city. There is graffiti everywhere in Berlin. From the west side to the east side of the wall and I have proof.
After the my morning wandering in Berlin tour it was time to shoot some dope campaign images for #TOPOFTHEBLOGS , with pretty cool team. What you can expect from the campaign I'm doing for Zalando is : a photo shoot for the Zalando website with my picks, a fun but short clip of me introducing myself, swaggin' it out and more.
However I have to thank the Z-team. The talented photographer Michael Hauptmann flew all the way from New York city , the entire Zalando team were legit darlings! That same night my style had to change from city guy to fancy guy for drinks and dinner at SOHO HOUSE Berlin. Like I said city trippin' in Berlin is always good. ;-)
