There's a brand new store in Town: JUTTU. Juttu is an innovative concept store that puts the experience of shopping in a new light. Juttu wants it's customers to take a more conscious, less impulsive approach to purchasing. They opened their 1st Antwerp shop on the Meir and invited bloggers, press, customers and friends to share the full Juttu experience. From the the fashion corner, lifestyle corner to the food corner... we explored it all.
I was happy to see 2 of my favorite Scandinavian brands Minimum and Anerkjendt, their spicy food corner and my dear friends to enjoy the evening. We had a lovely evening by the way.
First let me share with you a quote from the JUTTU mission :
"JUTTU, means ‘story’ or ‘anecdote’ in Finnish. At JUTTU, you have time to think about why you are buying something. Five quirky lifestyle corners with around sixty exciting brands for your home and wardrobe inspire you to make a conscious choice and find the perfect purchase. "
When it was my turn I shared my funny story - alongside a cup of hot chocolate and my favorite VASCOBELO Bar Lime cake - about that one night I wore a waaay to flashy red sweater to a white party in Rotterdam. Now that you understand what JUTTU is about, it's time to reveal the pictures that were taken at the opening event , photographed by Jens De Mollenvanger.
Since I always trick my friends into dress codes, that night I told them the dress code of the evening was casual chic. Besides that I was so glad to finally bring along my friends to an events. I brought a couple of friends from the International Antwerp Film and Television , so they too could experience the interesting concept and story behind JUTTU. After they saw my juttu - video , they got curious about JUTTU. Together we explored the brand new shop , had lots of fun and drinks. That definitely was a fun Thursday night!
