Today I'm proudly sharing with you my big feature on Top of The Blogs (2015) by Zalando. My blog got selected amongst the 4 most fashionable blogs in Belgian. You can read all about it on the Zalando page (Here). We are sharing our aspirations, passion for style , our top pieces and our favorite song.

Berlin was the destination for the chosen ones: Matthias Geerts, Elien Migalski, Sophie Ismail and Me. The 4 most stylish Belgian fashion bloggers on a flight to the Zalando headquarters for a  big photo shoot with the creative team of ZALANDO. Every blogger had his/her location to shoot. Mine was the MARKTHALLE NEUN in Eisenbahnstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The Markhalle neun is a food market. Lucky me. I'm such a big foodie, I totally felt in my element. They had the warm chocolate I like, the pastry, the wine and the burgers. Watch the video to see what I'm talking about. ;-)

Can I get an AMEN for this feature! It's an amazing feeling to be recognized and awarded for the hard work you put into something you love and you're passionate about. I remember pushing the 'Publish' button for the first time. There it was, my very 1st blog-post on the world wide web. I couldn't be more grateful.*Happy Dance*.

Berlin was the destination for the chosen ones: Matthias Geerts, Elien Migalski, Sophie Ismail and Me. The 4 most stylish Belgian fashion bloggers on a flight to the Zalando headquarters for a professional  photo shoot with the creative team of Zalando. Super cool people for the record.

DAY 1: Berlin By Night
At our arrival at the Berlin Airport  our designated driver drove us to our hotel first , where we got to meet Meike from Zalando. Once we arrived at our hotel, The Weinmeister Hotel in Berlin Mitte, we left our bags and went straight to the city to explore B-Town. Because Berlin has a lot to offer.
DAY 2: SHOOTING DAY + BERLIN BY DAY
After a good night rest  I was ready for the big shoot. My king size bed was very good to me if you must know. I woke up on time and put on my outfit of the day. Which was a simple black & white outfit with my favorite Raf Simons vintage trouser from 1999. And since the Belgian airport security had taken all of my liquid stuff ( deodorant, hair products, body lotion ) I was afraid my hair would lack of fleekness, but NO. The Weinmeister hotel had everything for a young Afro-haired boy. GO GO WEINMEISTER, you saved my day.

My Zalando-Selfie Wall of Fame
The atmosphere was perfect. It felt great to be surrounded by professionals at the same time having fun ,  getting to know new people and exchanging whatsapps. Like I said a super cool team. After saying goodbye to the wonderful Zalando crew. I spend some quality time in Berlin Mitte, while Sophie from Alerte à Liège was next for a super fun professional photo shoot. First thing I did was going back to the hotel to get my camera and explore Berlin. I was definitely not in the mood for a session of "Famous Berlin Monuments". So I went to artsy Auguststrasse. That was absolutely my thing. The coffee houses, many art galleries, cozy restaurants. My love for Berlin was born.
In the ME Collectors Room there was a big exhibition going on, besides  the coffee room they had. Until 30.08.2015 you can visit their exhibition: Queensize – Female Artists from the Olbricht Collection. With close to 60 artists, the exhibition represents a third of all women artists featured in the collection.
ROOM #2: The WUNDERKAMMER Olbricht
The quality of the objects, numbering in excess of 200 from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, is unique and makes the Wunderkammer Olbricht one of the most important private collections of its kind. It's in this part of the art-exhibition that I met the wunderbar Isabelle. As we caught each others eyes at the entrance, we couldn't resist art-seeing together. After that we went eating a burger and drank a beer at Shisho Burger, not far from the exhibition still on the Auguststraße.
