I just woke up this morning and I felt like writing to you and posting a little something something for my beloved jonthegold-readers. You know my routine I talk about the look, the details and then I share a little personal story. Sometimes the link between my post and what I'm actually talking about is so vague. Only I fully understand the links and the meanings I give to things haha. But anyhow ... let's get down to the business.
I hope you liked my 'Black&White Marble' -look I posted Monday. This is the same brand , Urban Flavours. Their collection is so dope. Urban Flavours is an independent brand from Poland. You are probably wondering Why the f**k is the link between you & Poland ? Well nothing actually. I like different things . I kept it all black everything. Focus on the t-shirt, did you noticed the mesh layer ? Basically I'm not a mesh shirt kinda guy. However this is the exception to the rule. Never thought a mesh t-shirt would fit and still look BAD ASS on me! Trying some new things never hurt nobody.

Do you ever feel like an outlaw ? Not in the criminal way , but in a way that you use your own morals or religious experience as guidance. You are not alone *michael jackson voice* I am here with you. I'm going forward in life using my own experience instead of following the law, politics or the media. We are all influenced by the media. That's why I don't watch TV anymore. You are forced to look at a screen where they teach you fear, capitalism & individualism , its like eating junk food: IT'S UNHEALTHY! Of course thinking about yourself isn't a bad thing. Still we're not alone. By thinking ME ME ME ME ME ME ME all the time , you are going to believe that you're alone.
That's why I use my Congolese morals and cultural experience to survive in this cold world. Since very little you are taught to care, to be polite, to think of others, to give thanks, to take care of your beloved ones,...and most important no matter what you do you are not alone . You have your parents, family and GOD. This was my outlaw story: I'm an urban boy with african roots. What is your outlaw story ?
