After spending a few days in the beautiful and romantic city of Seville, I had to recover from all the romance and the good weather this city has. Sevilla is a city full of culture, delicious food, and fun people. I went to the city not really realizing I would not party hardy. However, I was totally okay exploring the rich Spanish culture. From a cute vintage store, the big squares, little tapas restaurant to the Real Alcazar. Where HBO shot different scenes for the Game of Thrones hit series. I won't keep you from enjoying the pictures any longer.

Have a look at my Sevilla travel diary.

First stop: Nonna's Vintage shop

This tiny vintage shop on Feria street in Seville is the first shop we entered. One particular golden top caught my eye. So we went through the clothes and found out they have a good selection of designer clothes too at very reasonable prices. They also have a website. Feel free to check them out.

The rooftop bar of Casa de Indias

Casa de Indias is a hotel on the Plaza de la Encarnación. Their rooftop bar is the first one we visited to sit down and grab a refreshing beverage. Since we are in Spain, a cold sangria with pieces of local oranges and ice cubes was pretty appropriate for this warm weather.

Favourtie visit: Real Alcazar

The Royal Alcázars of Seville also known as al-Qasr al-Muriq. It was a royal palace in Seville, built for King Peter of Castile. It's on everybody and their mama's things to visit in the city of Seville. It's also the place where a couple of scenes from the HBO TV show Game of Thrones were filmed. As a huge GOT fan, it was like a fantasy coming true. In all honesty, GOT is the reason why I went to visit Real Alcazar. The garden of Real Alcazar, the cathedral of Seville and the Giralda Tower are right around the corner. You can visit all these places one after the other. All in one day.

conTenedor

Contenedor is a slow-food restaurant. Their cuisine is based on organic, garden, and local products. Which I like because eating local wherever you travel is what you should do. This restaurant was situated in our street and it looked very inviting from the outside. So we added it to our long list of good restaurants to visit by night. We ordered the slowly cooked duck with risotto rice and cooked pigeon with rootbeet.
