Hi guys , I'm back! First let's catch up on my trip to Vienna with Neubau Eyewear. Trendy german and dutch magazines, bloggers and journalists from around europe came together in Vienna to celebrate the launch event of Neubau Eyewear. Jon The Gold was part of this amazing team to enjoy this 2 day journey. An interview with Neubau brand manager Daniel Liktor, the city tour, the party, the hotel and my second exploration day with Anton Dee's sick cam . You'll experience it all next.

Vienna is ... a mix between London , Munich and Berlin. - Daniel Liktor , brand manager at Neubau eyewear

Daniel Liktor started working for Neubau eyewear because one thing tied him to the industry : his in passion for eyewear. Daniel is no stranger to the eyewear industry. He sees eyewear more like a fashion accessory and lifestyle item. At Neubau eyewear Daniel had one challenge, to build a new brand within a solid company. A challenge you don't get too often.

Jon : Daniel, can you describe the Neubau lifestyle ?

Daniel : "It's a very artsy and open minded lifestyle of urban people. It's not about age appropriation but but a it's more about the mindset. However the Neubau glasses are professional premium quality products linked to a unique interesting and cool story."

Jon : What kind of man wears Neubau eyewear ?

Daniel: "The kind of man who is fashion oriented and who takes care of himself."

Jon : What are you future plans as brand manager over the next 2 to 3 years ?

Daniel : "Since the first feedback was really positive , we are looking to make a portfolio for our brand and be consistent and launch some new collaborations. I do have some in mind but we'll not spoil anything! we just want to be on the right faces and in the right stores."

Jon : What did you learn during your time at Neubau?

Daniel : "To take challenges without over-thinking or overreacting whenever things don't work out as planned. So I learned to stay patient and focused."

Jon : What is your take on male bloggers ?

Daniel : " We need male bloggers because we do have male magazines. Male bloggers are a testimony for to the world."

Once we landed at Vienna me and Astrid ( journalist at Belmodo.be ) were picked up to head to a super cool hotel called Ruby Marie. Where all the press and bloggers gathered to freshen up and hit the streets of the Neubau area in the centre of Vienna. That was also the day I met 2 other talented bloggers from London : Anton Dee from The Style Division and Toni Tran from Fashitects . We signed up for a hell of a trip that created new friendships.
