A getaway can do so much good. I was happy to accept Barbour International's invite for an authentic and unique journey in KENT, England. What was on the menu : exploring the Barbour International brand culture and experience the adventurous biker life.

After the Fall/Winter 2016 press presentation I had to take a closer look at the men's collection. Although I already saw the look book photos plus I own a pretty iconic Barbour International biker jacket. I just couldn't stand the idea of not trying out one of the authentic jackets from the Barbour International x Triumph collection and the Steven McQueen collection.
Before I knew another glass of white wine was poured, I was socializing with the french journalists, pictures were shot and mine made on Barbour Int. instagram feed. The reason why I'm sharing that is because the person who was taking pictures for Barbour Int.'s instagram account, Matthew, is an online blogger friend of mine. We're both members of a community of male bloggers on Facebook. Never thought for a minute that our first meetup would be in Kent. Well, we do live in a small world. Don't we ?

Now let's take a look at the Powder Mills Country House Hotel. Spending the night there was as relaxing and charming as it looks on pictures.
This was my first day in Kent exploring and inhaling the Barbour International brand culture bit by bit. On day 2 I finally got motorbike de-flowered and I learned how to do a wheelie. Stay tuned for more of the Barbour Journey.
