Ooh yess, being a male fashion blogger has it's perks. That's for sure. Besides that not only did my childhood dream come true - owning my own pair of grillz - but I got to know one of the first and few dental-stylists in Antwerp city.

My not so secretive #Mission00Grillz challenge is accomplished . Sally dental-stylist and I sat down together to design the beautiful golden Jon grillz dedicated to my Jon The Gold - Blog. The custom design had to represent my personality and the blog at the same time.

Together with Sally we created a design for the special golden Jon grillz. What is so special about it ? :

-  ' JON ' engraved on the upper-grill,
-  diamonds spread over 1 teeth,
- accentuated the vampire teeth,
- a golden , subtle and elegant bottom-piece.

My exclusive golden grillz came a long way. This style of dental jewelry is an investment. You should know 1 thing If you consider owning your own pair of dental grillz: it's a pleasant process.

Let's see the evolution of the making and the fitting of my custom dental jewelry. Any questions ? Push the Ask Jon button.

Once my set of golden custom grillz was complete Sally dental-stylist immediately called me to contemplate the result of my incredible dental grillz.

The anthem of our #Mision00Grillz was 'Gold Digger' from Kanye West. During the fitting sessions Sally Dental Stylist made sure I was at ease while she was taking measures of my teeth. She put some relaxing music on and I was silent as a baby.

Q & A with Sally.

Question : "Can grillz damage your teeth ? "

Answer: "If they are made properly with a perfect fit, there is no reason they can damage the teeth.
But, a poorly fitted grillz, poor oral hygiene of the patient and bad maintenance of the piece can potentially damage teeth structures and gum tissues. Therefore, your best bet is to get your dental jewelry piece made by a dentist who understands the anatomy of the teeth and the mouth.
My team and I are here to create and design your perfect customized dental jewelry piece!"

Sidenote | 3 steps to maintain your dental grillz :

#1 : Remove grill and gently brush the inner portion with a soft toothbrush and warm water.
#2 : Take a glass. Fill it with mouthwash and dip the grillz in it for a night. When removing the grill in the morning, rinse it intensely with warm water.
#3 : Pat the grill dry with a soft, nonabrasive tissue. Polish all of the outer gold surfaces with a gold-cleaning tissue.
