Midst of the hectic Holiday season I found some time to share with you the results of an edgy photo session I did with Didier the brotographer ( the bro & photographer = brotographer ). Funny because I got to know Didier through an old friend. I once put a message on my facebook page looking for a photographer. Damn, I never thought we would be so implicated in each others business. This year he photographed over 25 looks for the blog. We should all say " Thanks Dee" :-) .
Didier studies Photography in Antwerp. For his final jury presentation he had to present a series of photos each in a different style. This serie is called Liquid by Didier Van Hove. Why liquid ? I once asked him but really his explanation was way too complicated. However all I really remember were my smokey - tearing - eyes during this photo session.
We are on a hangar at the port of Antwerp with another friend Laeticia ( who is not unknown on Jon The Gold. She is kind of my muse. Check her out here and here ). We had the smoke-bombs to add some bizassness to it. And guess what ? Last week Didier came back with great news, the jury totally digged his photo-series. Plus D. even framed the abstract images. Soon I'll have a couple of them at home. Should I hang it up ? I'm thinking yes. What do you think ?
