Hello guys, first of all greetings from Amsterdam. I arrived well at Lola's Place in the Haarlemerdijk. Before we take off to explore the city one more day, I had to share some menswear trends that caught my eye lately.
Filippa K captivated my attention again with their latest trends for coming spring/summer 2016 season. The Scandinavian fashion house uses stripes, grey shades and pastel tones for it's forever functional and minimal men's collection. Once again they are leaving us men with an urban chic flavour. I can't wait to wear their key pieces.
The Must-haves of the Filippa K SS16 collection :
#1 : The grey banded collar shirt
#2 : The grey dressed pants and the light blue jeans
Let's zoom in on the pants the models are wearing. In overall they have a clean cut and clearly you can combine it with both basics and statement pieces. But my final choice goes to the grey dressed pants and the light blue jeans. Wouldn't that be perfect for spring ?
#3 : The laminated paper-like wind parka is the lightweight highlight
During press days I went to UPR's showroom to see the collection. And trust me, that wind parka is on fire. Although it might be a bit tricky to style because of the laminated paper print on it, it's definitely worth a try.
