My love for the ultimate fall/winter color BURGUNDY goes beyond.  I'm 100% confident when I say that Burgundy is my color. We are slowly transitioning into Fall so I thought why not do a little experiment: mixing denim with typical fall shades.

How do you like the combination of acid blue denim and burgundy ?

Before I had my blog, I was running away from colors like burgundy and brown because I thought it wasn't a good match for my skin tone. Recently I discovered the opposite, Burgundy CAN mix well well with my skin tone. However I never thought that burgundy would be as good looking on acid blue denim like this. I ordered the acid blue shirt from Soulstart Clothing and my acid blue jeans was a personal gift from the bro's at ZANEROBE. If you were thinking that my denim gear is an ensemble, that is not the case. The story behind my Zanerobe jeans is different.

You might have seen on JON THE GOLD that I worked with Antwerp based shop KUDETA  in the past. Well, KUDETA asked me to help them built the guest list for the ZANEROBE Meet & Greet event organized in the shop itself. The point of the event was to welcome the 2 designers of Zanerobe in Kudeta ( one of the few selling points in the Benelux). Bloggers from all around Antwerp had the chance to interview and chat with the 2 founders and use the content for their blogs. Spreading the word about the Australian Zanerobe. After many instagram photos, drinks and networking everybody got a pair of jeans.

The event was a success and everybody had a great time. That had to be celebrated on the blog so I hit the port of Antwerp to take some shots of this acid blue stunner. Combined with a simple striped Filippa K long sleeve shirt and some burgundy jack purcell x converse I bought at the stocksale of VIER in Antwerp.
