2014 is coming to its end & it was a year full of accepted challenges, milestones, mishaps, intimate moments, many emotions, decisions, new opportunities and progress! I thought I'd give you guys a recap of my looks over the year.
Actually, I don't know if you remember my first look posted in February ? From there Le Blog just evolved and became more specific. Focusing on details, accessorising, combining , layering and color play. Also I got the chance to work with amazing Antwerp based photographers like Tatjana Henderieckx, Samuel Somers , Gopics Photography, Xavier Baeyens, and Thomas Vanhoyweghen. To be honest the photography really helps me get my story out there. That's a major game changer when blogging.
I get many compliments about my photos but I always say : " man I love my photographers !! " . Sounds really wrong when the person in question is standing next to you. Haha . The fact that I have a friend-based relationship with the photographers I work with, makes it all more fun. I began shooting my personal style with Tatjana H. in February until the end of the summer. It was the first time standing in front of the lens again. After modelling for Xavier B. So I reincarnated the model in me , coming back from my modelling days at the Antwerp mode academy. I remember I wanted to shoot a look so bad , when I didn't had a photographer. As a miracle Tatjana then came along. She really understood the urban chic style I was going for. After shooting the photos for my collaboration with Strelli Homme , she had to quit shooting for Jon The Gold. Luckily , I got to know the homie Thomas V. Amazingly talented photographer. A very urban and sophisticated genre of photography. Since then we been working together.

Early this year I started out with the basic 'look of the day'. But I had so much inspiration that I wanted to make a sort of editorial for each look, to make it more interesting/fun/intriguing to look at. What inspired me in 2014 were the men's magazines. My go to places for a good read and amazing photography were online magazines like : Labeling men, Nylon Guys, Fashionindie.com , Hypebeast, High Snobiety, VOGUE homme, and other personal style blogs ... 2014 has been incredible blog wise. I networked with a lot of fashion people, pr-agencies, photographers, brands, stores,... And I learned some more about blogging. It seems like every month you learn something new about the blogosphere.
Thanks for reading
